About The Aston Martin Vantage

In an age when sports cars need to be technological marvels in order to be competitive, the Aston Martin Vantage delivers a refreshingly visceral experience. The Vantage is no less a technological marvel for it, but Aston Martin wants you to be able to feel the road and fully experience every aspect of the incredible performance that the Vantage is capable of. It does take some seriously advanced technology to allow you to feel the performance like that, but that’s how the Vantage sets itself apart. It’s obvious just from looking at the Vantage that it’s going to stand out from the crowd, as the Vantage is as visually striking as it is exhilarating to drive.

Aston Martin Vantage Features

Aston Martin Vantage S

Exhilarating Performance

Performance is really what the Vantage is all about, and at the heart of this is the engine, a hand-built 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. This produces 656 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, which is enough to rocket the Vantage to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. For those who want a more extreme experience, the Vantage S turns up the output to 670 horsepower and drops the 0-60 time to 3.3 seconds, with both versions hitting a top speed of 202 mph. The Vantage has an incredibly stiff chassis, as well as perfect 50:50 weight distribution, adding to that visceral feeling that defines the Vantage experience. Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers ensure that all of that stiffness doesn’t become jarring when you encounter an imperfection in the road. The Vantage wears a version of the Michelin Sport S 5 tires that were made specifically for it. Carbon ceramic brakes are available as well, for incredible stopping power and an overall 60-pound reduction in unsprung weight.

Head-Turning Style

As impressive as the performance of the Vantage is, it’s certainly not the only thing about it that’s attention-grabbing. Styling that is at once both purposeful and elegant has long been the signature look of Aston Martin vehicles, and the Vantage is an outstanding example of that. It also helps that Aston Martin makes it easy for you to make your Vantage your own, with dozens of paint colors, as well as liveries, grille finishes, wheels, and taillight designs to fine-tune the look of your car. The interior offers a similar level of customization, with a wide range of materials and colors, including the ability to choose the color of the hand stitching on the available Scottish leather. And for something truly unique, Q by Aston Martin gives you the option to commission one-of-a-kind details, including special colors or materials to fit your exact tastes.

Aston Martin Vantage Drive Mode

Advanced Technology

Advanced technology is found in every nook and cranny of the Vantage, from the advanced materials that produced the lightweight carbon fiber driveshaft and the heat-resistant carbon ceramic brakes, to the selectable drive modes that adjust suspension damping rates and throttle response in a fraction of a second. But not all of the tech is for going fast, there are also all sorts of driver assistance systems, like Blind Spot Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Assist, Matrix High Beam Control, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go. And even though the engine provides a highly rewarding listening experience, there is an impressive 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins stereo system available. The advanced infotainment system even offers support for Apple CarPlay Ultra®.

Variants

Aston Martin Vantage Coupe

Vantage Coupe

The essential form of the Vantage, with a 4.0-liter V8 making 656 horsepower. The coupe offers the structural rigidity that you can only get with a hardtop, although a glass roof is available for those who want more natural light. A blacked-out grille, wheels, and badges are all standard (though changeable) for a distinct look.

Aston Martin Vantage Roadster

Vantage Roadster

Sometimes the only way to improve an amazing drive is to add a little wind in your hair. The Vantage Roadster features a cleverly designed roof to keep weight to a minimum and rigidity at a maximum. All of which is done to give the Roadster the same feel as the Coupe, apart from all the extra fresh air, of course. The roof opens in just 6.8 seconds, so you don’t have to wait long to get the full experience.

Aston Martin Vantage S

Vantage S

The Vantage S is made to give you the ultimate performance experience. The engine produces a bit more power, and advanced materials are employed to trim weight. Throttle response and even pedal feel are precisely calibrated to enhance the drive, and the car’s software is given an S-Specific reprogramming. Red exterior accents and a rear spoiler tell you that you’re looking at something extraordinary.
