Bentley Supersports - Exclusivity & Exhilaration

Bentley Supersports Performance

Blistering Performance

Embracing the fundamentals of precision engineering, the Bentley Supersports is a true enthusiast machine. Its beating heart is a non-hybrid variant of a strengthened 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with a stronger crankcase, enlarged cylinder heads, and massive turbochargers. In addition to 657 pulse-pounding horsepower, a ZF 8-speed dual-clutch transmission delivers exact control. An evocative soundtrack can be heard via its full-length titanium exhaust, developed in conjunction with Akrapovič. Unleash the full fury of the Supersports and you’ll rocket from 0-62 MPH in a remarkable 3.7 seconds on the way to a top track speed of 192 MPH. Drivers can use the standard Drive Dynamics Controller to personalize their experience using Touring, Bentley, and Sport drive mode settings. Since power is meaningless without control, the Bentley Supersports is equipped with the largest automotive braking system in the world – 440 mm Carbon-Silicon-Carbide (CSiC) discs on the front axle, 10-piston calipers, and 410 mm discs with four-piston calipers at the rear.

Bentley Supersports Lightweight Wheels

Remarkably Lightweight

The obsessive commitment to pushing the limits of speed has resulted in the lightest Bentley vehicle that’s been produced in an astounding 85 years. In fact, the Bentley Supersports is nearly half the mass of the Continental GT, a truly remarkable accomplishment. Much of this reduction is attributed to the powertrain, retaining its purist intentions with a true ICE-only propulsion system and rear-wheel drive exclusively. Body panels typically constructed in aluminum, including the roof section, have been replaced by carbon fiber. 22-inch forged and machined aluminium alloy wheels developed in partnership with Manthey Racing help to reduce unsprung weight. Even the entire rear cabin environment has been deleted in the pursuit of reducing weight, creating a true 2-seat grand tourer and an immersive experience behind the wheel of the Bentley Supersports.

Bentley Supersports Interior

Bespoke Design

Exclusivity is a hallmark of the Bentley Supersports, limited to just 500 hand-crafted examples built in Crewe. In addition to a plethora of single-tone exterior choices, Bentley has also created five Design Themes that prominently feature a small section of striping and a Supersports name in a contrasting color. A dizzying array of interior upholstery colors, materials, and accents adds an extra touch of personalization. Driver engagement is a priority inside the cabin with its 11-way adjustable carbon fiber-trimmed sports seats inspired by motorsport.

Bentley’s Chairman and CEO, Dr Frank-Steffen Walliser, comments:

“The new Supersports is more than just the most driver-focused Bentley yet. It signifies a return to Bentley making more extreme cars – ones that combine extraordinary breadth of ability with true driver engagement, while remaining pieces of automotive artwork unique and bespoke to each customer. Bentley has always thrived when revealing a more daring side, and the new Supersports is a statement of our intent while celebrating 100 years of the name. This is the first project developed from start-to-finish since I joined Bentley Motors, and I’m proud of our team and the speed at which we’ve created a car so different to the GT on which it’s based.”
