About The Aston Martin Vanquish
With the Aston Martin Vanquish, the name really says it all. The British super GT conquers all, a car that is unrivaled in both comfort and performance. Under the elegantly sculpted hood sits a powerful twin-turbo V12 that sends 824 horsepower to the rear wheels. But it’s not power that makes the Vanquish the astonishing accomplishment that it is. As a GT car, it also needs to be comfortable, even for long trips. So the Vanquish features a refined interior that includes a rear seat, and there’s a trunk large enough to hold your suitcases or golf clubs. And with a car like this, you want it to feel like your own, which is why Aston Martin offers a huge range of customization options, so you can dial in exactly the Vanquish you want.
What The Critics Say
| “The 2026 Aston Martin Vanquish is vehicular hedonism. Its V-12 engine pumps out 823 horsepower, its two-seat interior is resplendent, and its voluptuously elegant design causes heads to swivel. This six-figure beauty is what 007 would drive if he retired from spying and switched career paths to something highly lucrative.” - Car & Driver | “Stomp on the gas while already in motion and the Vanquish is manic. Twelve cylinders, two turbos, and over 800 horses fill your ears with lead, making them pop with pulse-altering, license-ruining forward thrust. It is oppressive, remarkable, excessive, wondrous speed.” - The Drive |
What’s New For 2026
While the hardtop Vanquish carries over unchanged for 2026, there is still a big change in the form of a new convertible Volante variant. It features a fabric soft top that can retract in just 14 seconds. This new variant is even more exclusive than the hardtop, with production limited to just 1,000 units per year.
Aston Martin Vanquish Features
Supercar Performance
Aston Martin doesn’t call the Vanquish a supercar, but that’s only because you wouldn’t call anything with a back seat a supercar. The Vanquish is instead a super GT, a grand tourer with supercar performance. The power for this performance comes from a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 that pumps out 824 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, allowing this comfortable cruiser to go from 0 to 62 in just 3.3 seconds. Top speed is a staggering 214 mph, and Aston Martin has equipped the Vanquish with carbon ceramic brakes to deal with these kinds of speeds. The adaptive suspension helps the Vanquish transform from fire-breathing performance beast to comfortable road trip car with the push of a button.
Luxury Interior
Supercar interiors tend to be mainly functional, not terribly spacious, and filled with weight-saving materials. But the Vanquish is built to be more than that, and is even available with a back seat, should you want one. While Aston Martin gives you a lot of options to outfit the interior of your Vanquish, traditional English wood-and-leather luxury is the guiding philosophy used to craft the inside of the Vanquish. Analogue knobs and switches with knurled jewellery provide satisfying feedback for the functions you use the most. And even though supercars usually have lackluster stereo systems, the 1,170-watt, 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins Audio System produces the second most satisfying sound in the Vanquish, right after that V12 under the hood.
Endless Customization
The Vanquish is no ordinary car, and you shouldn’t have to settle for someone else’s vision of what it should look like. That’s why Aston Martin offers a huge range of customization options, from paint colors and wheel designs to seat belt colors and a huge list of choices just for the seat upholstery. This list is expanded through the Q by Aston Martin program, which can handle bespoke requests for those times when the curated options aren’t quite right. The name is a subtle nod to James Bond, a franchise with a history that has been intertwined with Aston Martin for decades. 007 even drove a Vanquish in Die Another Day. The idea is that Aston Martin’s Q department is the quartermaster to your Bond, always on hand with just the right thing.
