About The Rolls-Royce Spectre

A quiet and refined cabin has always been a priority for Rolls-Royce, as evidenced by the famous marketing slogan from 1957: “At 60 miles an hour, the loudest noise in this new Rolls-Royce comes from the electric clock.” As pioneers in automotive noise isolation, it’s only natural that Rolls-Royce has embraced electric drivetrains, and the accompanying quiet you’ll experience in the cabin. The all-electric Spectre is everything you expect from a Rolls-Royce coupe, but with a drivetrain that sets a new bar for smooth and silent acceleration. The elegant fastback body and rear-hinged doors make for a commanding presence, and the Black Badge variant of the Spectre is the most powerful Rolls-Royce model of all time. All of this comes with a level of luxury you can only find in a Rolls-Royce.

What the Critics Say

“The levels of comfort and refinement on offer are simply word-class, as you’d expect from Rolls-Royce. The cabin is as quiet as a church, the thick wool carpets are sumptuous and there’s a sense that every single component has been made to the highest possible specification, not to save costs or weight.” — Forbes

“Accessed by opening one of two rear-hinged doors, the coupe’s cabin is lavish and beyond comfortable. Fine materials line every square inch of the interior, and Rolls-Royce smartly integrates modern technology without ruining the cabin’s classic vibes.” — Car & Driver

What’s New for 2025

For 2025, Rolls-Royce introduced the Black Badge Spectre, a performance-oriented version of the Spectre available in a special new paint color known as Vapour Violet. The Black Badge Spectre is the most powerful Rolls-Royce vehicle ever produced, and it comes with two additional drive modes, Infinity and Spirited, to allow you to take full advantage of this power.

Rolls-Royce Spectre Features

Technical Brilliance

The Spectre comes with an incredible electric drivetrain, powerful, quiet, and able to deliver power smoothly enough to feel effortless. These qualities are so central to the Rolls-Royce experience that the Spectre fits seamlessly with the rest of the V12-powered Rolls-Royce lineup. But this is hardly the only area where Rolls-Royce employs advanced technology to enhance the experience of the Spectre. The Spectre comes with Level 2 autonomous driving capability, with features like Lane Change Warning, Active Cruise Control with Stop and Go, and Lane Guide assist to help reduce fatigue behind the wheel. Parking Assist Plus can even parallel park your Spectre for you, just one less thing for you to have to worry about. Technology has even improved many of the more traditional luxury aspects of the Spectre, such as the LEDs that make up the soft ambient lighting, which improves visibility in the cabin without the harshness of bright dome lights.

Uncompromising Luxury

Rolls-Royce took a slightly different approach to the Spectre than with the rest of the model lineup. With those other models, it’s not unusual for a chauffeur to handle driving duties, but a coupe is built to be driven by the owner. So, although the back seat in the Spectre is undeniably luxurious, it’s the front that was the focus of this elegant design. The rear-hinged doors open wide with the touch of a button to make getting in and out as graceful as the driving experience. The seats are designed to wrap around the occupant, holding them in place with soft and supple leather. The Spectre comes with the signature Rolls-Royce Starlight Headliner, which extends to the doors and illuminated fascia to make it easier for you to see the controls at night. The Bespoke Audio system is tuned to give an audiophile-grade listening experience to the driver.

Bespoke Refinement

What truly sets Rolls-Royce apart from mainstream luxury brands is that its vehicles can be built to your exact specifications, down to the smallest details. Buyers don’t have this level of input with any other brand, which is why Rolls-Royce has no true competitors. Choose from a huge list of color options and configurations, as well as touches like an illuminated grille, coachlines, and even specify which style you prefer for the clock in the dashboard. For those who want something even more out of the ordinary, Rolls-Royce builds special collections and commissioned one-off bespoke editions. Sometimes these use unique colors, materials, or designs, but even custom coachwork is on the table for those who want it. With a Spectre, you won’t have to settle for someone else’s vision of a coupe.
