The Bentley Continental GT takes its GT moniker very seriously, as there is no better grand touring car available from any manufacturer anywhere. Bentley Continental GTC Features
Effortlessly Powerful
The Continental GTC uses a plug-in hybrid drivetrain that allows for quiet all-electric cruising, but can also travel long distances without stopping to recharge, thanks to the gasoline engine. The drivetrain also makes for incredibly smooth acceleration, with electric power keeping power delivery consistent through gear changes. The combination of gasoline and electric power also makes for a huge amount of total power. The standard drivetrain produces 671 horsepower and 686 lb-ft of torque, enough for a blisteringly quick 3.8-second 0-60 time. But for those who want more power, the Speed and Mulliner variants of the Continental GTC produce a bit more power, 771 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, enough to get to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds. Both versions are all-wheel drive, and power is sent through an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that executes shifts with lightning quickness.
Luxurious Comfort
There are plenty of quick cars out there, but a proper grand tourer needs to be comfortable as well, and the Continental GTC is extremely well-suited to this task. The 20-way power-adjustable front seats are covered in leather from herds that graze above sea level in Northern Europe, and are internally climate controlled. The climate control system also includes excellent filtration and ionisation of the outside air, so you can have fresh air inside, even with the roof up. If you prefer the aesthetics and calming understated simplicity of analog dials, you can opt for the Bentley Rotating Display, which gives you access to the infotainment touchscreen when you need it, but hides it away behind a panel when you don’t need it. The 10-speaker Bentley Signature Audio system delivers superb sound quality, but audiophiles can upgrade to either a Bang & Olufsen 1,500-watt system with 16 speakers, or a Naim system with 18 speakers and a 2,200-watt output.
