About The Bentley Continental GT
The Bentley Continental GT defines what a grand touring car is in today’s world; there is no car that is more of a grand tourer than this one. The Continental GT blends elements of Bentley’s long history in motorsports with a refined and distinctly English sense of luxury. The V8 engine paired with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain delivers massive, yet effortless, power. But this supercar level of performance takes nothing away from the quiet elegance of the cabin. Even the air conditioning system incorporates advanced air purification to enhance comfort. There is an extensive list of paint colors, veneer options, and all sorts of upholstery colors and configurations to help you make your Continental GT your own. And for those who want to take it further, bespoke coachbuilt options from Muliner are also available.
Bentley Continental GT Features
Refined Drivetrain
The Continental GT is powered by a highly advanced 4.0-liter V8 mated to a plug-in hybrid drivetrain. The V8 would be plenty powerful on its own, but Bentley added a plug-in hybrid drivetrain to not just add more power, but to better provide smooth, responsive, and linear power delivery. Of course, this does still add up to a lot of power. In the standard and Azure variants, it makes 671 horsepower and 686 lb-ft of torque. This is enough to get the Continental GT to 60 MPH in just 3.5 seconds. But if you want even more performance, the Speed and Mulliner variants get some extra power, a total of 771 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, making this the most powerful drivetrain ever made by Bentley. This more powerful version is good for a 3.1-second 0-60 time. But perhaps most remarkable of all, the Continental GT remains quiet and composed, no matter how much of this incredible power you tap into.
Refined Interior
A grand touring car is supposed to be fast, but it’s also supposed to offer something more than that. A good grand tourer is made for road trips, so things like power, luggage space, and driver assistance features like adaptive cruise control are all important. But an interior that’s a comfortable place to be for long trips is perhaps the most important thing in a GT car. Bentley approaches this idea from two different angles. On the one hand, you get the traditional wood-and-leather handcrafted traditional luxury that the Bentley brand was originally built on. And on the other hand, Bentley uses advanced technology to further enhance what is already incredible about the interior. So the seats aren’t just covered in high-quality Nappa leather, and they don’t just come with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. Seat Auto Climate adjusts both temperature and humidity within the seat to make sure it’s constantly just how you like it. An advanced feature called Postural Adjust uses air pockets to vary the pressure of the seat on your muscles subtly, so no one spot gets overly fatigued.
Endless Customization
With a car like this, you really want to be able to make it your own. That’s why Bentley offers a huge range of options to let you outfit your Continental GT just right. This means a wide range of paint colors, wheels, hide colors, veneers, and even stitching type and color. You can opt for diamond knurling on the vents and organ stop controls, or choose a different color for the brake calipers. To expand the list of options, Bentley uses the coachbuilder Mulliner in three different ways. The first is the Curated by Mulliner collection of paints, veneers, stitching, and options like lambswool rugs or a champagne cooler. The next option is Mulliner bespoke, which is the option for when none of the curated shades or materials are quite right, and you want to be able to choose something custom-made just for you. The last option is Mulliner Coachbuilt, which allows you to commission something truly exclusive.
Variants
Continental GT
For those looking to do extensive customizing, the standard variant of the Continental GT gives you the clean slate you want to pick and choose exactly what you want. The available Black Design Specification replaces all of the bright chrome trim pieces with either black tinted chrome or satin black, along with a set of black wheels, and contrasting Mandarin details to stand out against the black. Comes with the standard version of the drivetrain.
Continental GT Azure
The Azure puts an emphasis on luxury and design, including touches like a vertical-vaned grille and Harmony Crystal headlights. The Azure is offered with two unique sets of wheels, one with bright surfaces and the other painted black. Veneer options include technical finishes like Côtes de Genève. Comes with the standard version of the drivetrain.
Continental GT Speed
As the name suggests, the Speed leans into Bentley’s history in motorsports, with a grille inspired by Bentley’s Le Mans-winning racecars. Sport sills, a sport exhaust finisher, and smoked taillight lenses complete the look. Carbon fiber interior trim and a unique upholstery color split further emphasize the incredible performance of the Speed. Appropriately, the Speed comes with the more powerful version of the drivetrain.
Continental GT Mulliner
Conceived as the ultimate form of the Continental GT, the Mulliner features the highest-quality details, including the exclusive floating-diamond grille, Animated Welcome Lights, and 22-inch wheels with self-leveling wheel badges. The Mulliner even comes with unique instrument panel graphics. It also comes with the more powerful version of the drivetrain.
